The food is really good. Would give 5 stars on the atmosphere if you didn't have to deal with people begging for me to buy them food.

I've been going here since I was a child. It's always been consistent in taste. It sometimes take a little time to get your food but that's because it's always packed with people. I will continue to eat here for as long as I can. Definitely an Atlanta staple.

This little gem is well hidden in plain sight. They certainly didn't waste any money on the exterior of the former drive through they occupy. I drive by the place every day and honestly thought the building was empty until a buddy of mine took me there for breakfast. Salmon croquettes, eggs with cheese, toast, and hands down the best grits in town. I served breakfast and brunch in Buckhead for 5 years at a place that prided themselves on having the best grits in Atlanta, and I still have a lot of love and loyalty for them and all the fine dining restaurants I worked at in my over 10 years in that industry, so i don't take lightly the consequences of that statement, but there is but one truth, and when it comes to grits, man do they speak it.

Great breakfast spot if you're not late. Grandma's cooking ( Ms.Kim), is a great person with personality. Try the home potatoes with onions.

Some people may not visit this place based on the look of the building and its location. But...the food served here is over the top delicious. Never a complaint about food or service. The women there are great. If you want seasoned, soulful, significant and exceptional food; This Is The Place.

Customer reviews speak volumes about the atmosphere, where the inviting smiles from the staff make you feel right at home. Nina Simmone describes it best, likening the experience to being at "grand mama's house." Despite occasional waits due to popularity, the deliciousness of the food and stellar customer service shine through, making the wait worth it. Jeffrey McLeroy mentions the vibrancy of the atmosphere, though not without acknowledging that some guests may be less than hospitable.

Consistency is another hallmark of this establishment, as NaToya McCrary highlights, ensuring that loyal customers are greeted with familiar flavors every visit. The cleanliness of the restaurant complements the comforting environment, allowing guests to enjoy their meals without distraction.

Beyond the food, the restaurant's interior may not be extravagant, but it exudes a charm that resonates with its loyal patrons. Customers appreciate this unpretentious setting where the focus is clearly on the culinary experience. As T. Eric Ganahl discovered, sometimes the best meals are served in the most modest venues. His endorsement of the grits simply reflects the culinary prowess found within the kitchen.
